Easy To Find
Bass are often easiest to find in the spring, when they are predictably nesting in warmer, cleaner areas near some kind of cover.
Moment Of Truth
Whether a bass strikes or not often depends on the angler, not the lure. Something is required to trigger a strike. The angler's job is to identify that trigger.

Fish The Sinker

When fishing a worm or jig, don't worry about what a hit feels like. Concentrate on the weight and move it along the bottom by lifting the rod tip from ten o'clock toward eleven o'clock. The higher you lift the weight, the more time it's out of contact with the bottom, and the less feedback about the fish's world it can provide. Keep the movements in a range of a few inches to a foot. Use the weight to feel your way around the bottom, searching for "stuff" and fish it as if you were trying to get snagged. When you run it across a spot that feels interesting, slow down and be alert. Then cast back to it a few times to feel around it even more.

Expand Your Horizons

If you make it a point to fish at least a few new waters each year, your knowledge will keep expanding. Keep trying to master more new techniques rather than relying on the ones you’re most comfortable with. When you fish with an experienced Central Florida bass and crappie fishing charter like Big Bass Guide Service, you'll learn even more techniques. Bass are flexible and adaptable, as we should be if we hope to catch them. Central Florida and Orlando Bass Fishing is exciting. Make the most of each and every outing!
